SIM800 SIM-800 GPRS Development Board Quad-Band GSM Shield Compatible For Arduino Electrical Circuitry & Parts
This cellular shield is based on the SIM800 module from SIMCom Wireless Solutions. The SIM800 is a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 Mhz) cellular module with 2G connectivity. Just add an active SIM card and your Arduino can connect to the internet, make a phone call, or send a text message anywhere it has reception. This is a great solution for a remote data logging system or closing your garage door with a text message.

How to use:
- Computer debugging USB TTL can. This module is powering: 5 V-26 V, 5 V 2A power recommendations. Plug in the Arduino main board, the power supply must be able to provide 2A current. The reason is that the current GPRS Shield boot and work up to the maximum peak current required 2A, but this USB port cannot provide as large as it currently is, this must be an external power supply equipment. Another way is to lead 3.7-4.5V pin power port for lithium battery power. Very compatible Arduino serial microcontroller. Compatible with 3.3 and 5 V TTL serial microcontrollers.
- Ensure that your SIM card is unlocked
- GPRS Shield communication baud rate preferably 19200 bps 8-N-1 (GPRS Shield automatic default that matches baud rate)
